A 2.5 hour lluxury llama trek with a National Geographic-famous llama and his girlfriend? Now that’s an experience of a lifetime.
For your trek, Carll and Pearll will be haltered and suited up with their packs - which will be chocked full of delicious treats for you AND the llamas. Yours-to-keep thermoses of warm beverages in the winter and cold beverages in the summer will be at the ready in one of their pack pockets.
With the support of your guide, you will lead the llamas with you up a wide trail through the woods to a charming lookout point, where you will stop to relax on tree stump stools to enjoy the view and your snacks - and feed the llamas their treats in exchange for kisses (if you so choose). After returning down the trail, make friends with all the other animals before you go, and plan your next experience at Wonderlland. Photo opportunities abound.
*The trek is uphill for the first half and then back downhill, and is on a wide, clear path through the woods. The pace is calm and it is suitable for varied fitness levels. Parties with children or who otherwise wish to have a flatter trek will happily be accommodated. Wonderlland has miles of trails to suit all wishes!
All treks purchased in 2018 are redeemable beginning in 2019. There is no expiration date on your purchase. After you complete your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation. Save this for your records, and contact us by email or phone anytime thereafter to set up a mutually agreeable date and time for your trek.
The llamas accommodate parties year round, with the exception of during very hot weather, when they prefer to lay in front of a fan.
You will be asked to enter a contact person for your trek party upon checkout. This is for our records. If the trek is a gift, you may enter the gift recipient’s information if you wish. We will not initiate contact - we wait to hear from you to reserve your date and time. This system allows for easier gift giving, as well as allowing trek parties to consider their most desired time of year before contacting us to set the exact date.
We will do our best to accommodate any special occasion dates you wish to reserve, however our treks are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. If you have any additional special requests, please feel free to contact us. We would love to discuss the possibility of adding other services to your trek for special events such as anniversaries, proposals, etc.
